This started after one too many projects where the scope tripled, the fee stayed the same, and the only record of what was agreed was a Slack thread from three months ago.
We tried HoneyBook, Dubsado, Copilot. They were all built for people who already knew how to charge confidently. None of them protected the person who was new to running a business — the one most likely to get burned.
